Judge (Ret.), Advocate, Mediator and Arbitrator
Judge (Ret.) Amir earned his LL.B from the Hebrew University in 1984 and his LL.M from the London School of Economics in 1988.
He served as an editorial member of the law review "Mishpatim" during 1981-1982. 

Judge (Ret.) Amir interned at the Supreme Court and S. Horowitz & Co law firm and was admitted to the Israeli Bar Association in 1985. Subsequently, he joined the law firm of Prof. Yuval Levy as a lawyer; later making partner at Yoram Alroy & Co. law firm, and at Levanon, Amir & Co. law firm. Additionally, he served as an arbitrator at the Israeli Institute of Commercial Arbitration.  

In 1997 he was appointed as a judge and served in the Magistrate´s Courts of Tel-Aviv and Kfar-Saba. In 2010 Judge (Ret.) Amir was appointed to the Central District Court and served until his retirement in 2023. Over his 27 years of judicial tenure, Judge (Ret.) Amir handled diverse cases across legal fields, including commercial and corporate law, intellectual property, property law, class actions, insurance and tort law, public tenders, administrative law, major crimes, and civil and criminal appeals.  

Throughout the years, Judge (Ret.) Amir taught courses in civil procedure at the Hebrew University, Haifa University, and the IDC Herzliya (today Reichman University). He also served as a speaker and organized seminars in the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies for Judges and the Israeli Bar Association, focusing on civil procedure and intellectual property.

Judge (Ret.) Amir joined the firm in 2023 and now specializes in civil mediation and arbitration proceedings, encompassing commercial and corporate law, intellectual property, real estate, and class actions.
